NextFifty Initiative
NextFifty Initiative grants support a wide range of initiatives including research, start-ups, pilot projects, direct services, and policy for systems-level and programmatic innovations to change aging. 
The projects under these grants should support older adults through their work in one or more areas:
  • Ending ageism
  • Advancing digital equity
  • Supporting aging in place
Grant applications will be evaluated based on: 
  • Connection to marginalized older adults
  • Commitment to justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion
  • Alignment to the Foundation's priority areas
  • Innovation
  • Partnerships
  • Need
The types of eligible applicants for these grants include governmental entities, institutions of higher education, nonprofit entities organized under sections 501(c)(3), 501(c)(4), and 501(c)(6) of the IRS code, and nonprofit entities with an eligible fiscal sponsor. The projects under these grants must focus on the aging or aging-disabled population of the age 50 and over or the caregivers of these populations. 
 
Applications are due by July 31 at 7:00 p.m. ET
